Lay-By (No Fees)

Shopinoz is excited to announce the launch of our Lay-By system.

Taking out a Lay-By, is as simple as placing an order using the payment option of Lay-By/COD/Bank Deposit, and pay it off at your own leisure.

1. How To Instructions
Placing an order on Lay-By, starts by placing an order and choosing the payment option of Lay-by, COD or Bank Deposit, remembering to use any discount coupons at this stage of the checkout process.
During the checkout process, a comments box will be provided, upon which, the customer choosing Lay-By for their order must leave a message about wanting to place their order on Lay-By. Simply leaving a message in the message box of "Lay-by" is all that is needed to have their order placed on Lay-By

2. Fees
At this point in time, there are no fees what so ever associated with placing an order onto Lay-By. These fees are subject to change, but notice of these changes will be publicly noted well before any change is made.
Postage will still remain free (conditions apply, see 7. Individual Item Early Pick-up).

2a. Cancellation Fees
There will be no fee given for cancelled Lay-By orders, and can be cancelled by the original purchaser or from another person only when permission from the original purchaser has been given, at any time providing it is less than the maximum twelve month period.

3. Time Frame
The maximum time for any one Lay-By at any one time is 12 Months.


Any Lay-By not collected after this time will be taken into collections. The amount of money that had been paid up to and including the twelve month period end, will NOT be refunded. Products to the amount of the amount of money already paid will be sent to the given address by the purchaser, and these products will be chosen at the discretion of Shopinoz. Any postage costs will be taken out of the amount already paid.

4. Eligible Items
All products on the Shopinoz website are available for a Lay-By purchase. Any items that we source for a customer that are not on the website are also available for a Lay-By Purchase.
Any item that has been placed onto Lay-By by a purchaser, and is no longer available for varying reasons that are out of our control, the purchaser has the option to delete the item or to choose a replacement item of equal value only (unless management can help find a solution for you).

5. Payment Options
There are two(2) payment options available, one is bank deposit and the other is credit card.

5a. Bank deposit is simple and can be done via the internet or in person at a Westpac branch. The following are the details for depositing funds directly into our accounts...

When making a deposit via direct deposit, two things must happen. When depositing money, in the information box provided, enter the order number so we know which order the money needs to be paid to (if you lose or forget the order number simply contact us and we can let you know what it is). Secondly and most important, send us an email to let us know that you have made a deposit, also include the amount of money deposited, your name, and your order number. We will always reply with a receipt for the amount paid.

5b. There are two ways to make a payment with a credit card, one is to request and email to make a payment. This involves Shopinoz sending an email from paypal asking for payment using a credit card. This is very simple, as the email directs you to a secure paypal website page to use your credit card. Then simply enter your details and your done. The other way is to go to the paypal website and find the SEND MONEY page. Here you can join as a paypal member and use your credit card. If you already have a paypal account you can use funds already in your account.
Remember to always enter your name, email address and your order number so we can get the money that you have paid to the right area and then send a payment confirmation email to you.

6. Discount Coupons
All discount coupons can be used in exactly the same manner as a normal purchase.

7. Individual Item Early Pick-up
Picking up items is definitely a possibility but will come with a few conditions. The definition of picking up items early, simply means, the Lay-By agreement has not been fully paid for and of the items that have been placed on Lay-By, you want to get one or more or those items before paying out the full balance of the Lay-By.
Any items that you want to pick up early can only happen if the item/s required has had sufficient funds paid to cover the cost of at least that or those items. When picking up selected items early, postage will NOT be free. The remaining products that are on Lay-By will still be sent via free postage once the balance of the Lay-By has been paid out in full.

7a. Adding items to your existing Lay-by
If you wish to add items to an already existing lay-by then this is what can be done for you. Simply email us with all the relevent information and we will add to your order the products that you want to add.
Starting a new lay-by is actually easier for you and for Shopinoz. As there is no fees associated with lay-by's you can simply start a new a new lay-by and have as many lay-by's as you like. The time frame for the 12 month period is the only concern that you will have.

7b. Deleting items off your Lay-By
If you found out that you don't need a particular item, or you don't think you can afford the amount of items that you have on your lay-by.
You can delete any item off you lay-by at anytime, simply contact us with the exact information about deleting items and we will do it for you, no questions asked.
When you delete items, this may cause the total monetary amount to be more than the remaining lay-by total, in this case we will send your existing lay-by items and refund the remaining amount to you.
